Clear Light of Day

The importance of Aunt Mira's presence was to be the parent they didn't have. To fill that void of a missing mother and to be that strong maternal figure for them when they needed it. She provided love and support they needed and didn't have a mother or father to give them. Aunt Mira nurtured and reared them and gave them all they needed as children. She provided for them, played with them read to them and was there for them as a mother would have been. They were like the children she didn't have. They contributed to her downfall for she grew close to them by trying to be the mother and father figure they didn't get to have. Through that they formed a close family bond Aunt Mira as the parent and Bim, Baba, Raja and Tara as her children. then she was neglected when they went away and lost the strong family love she once had that kept her going. Tara played a significant part in Aunt Mira's downfall for as a child the two had a very close bond, closer than the one her aunt had with her other siblings and as soon as Tara got the opportunity to leave she abandoned her aunt and never returned until her death. Tara and aunt Mira were like best of friends and when she left Aunt Mira lost that bond. Tara never wrote or did anything to keep their relations alive which played a significant part in aunt Mira's demise. All four of the children played an important part in aunt Mira's downfall individually Bim by not paying much attention to her, Raja by disobeying her and then leaving, Baba by not being able to respond her and show her that he was thankful for what she was doing for him, and Tara for abandoning her as soon as she found a way.
